"I have been dedicated to organizing for youth and families since 2006, starting with peer mentoring and expanding to court advocacy, gang intervention, and street outreach. I co-founded the Peace in Pilsen initiative, which centers on violence prevention and intervention to create safer communities. As a Restorative Justice practitioner, I apply my expertise to foster healing and understanding, benefiting not only my neighborhood but also the entire district and city. My work is rooted in building supportive environments and empowering young people to make positive changes, creating pathways for resilience and community growth."
