This new citywide commission will empower citizens to say who and how they are policed. In addition, it will also establish social services programs intended to safeguard, uplift, and resurrect our communities!I have deep compassion for justice, and I believe that all Chicago citizens deserve fair policing and community services that are tailored to the challenges and needs of OUR COMMUNITIES despite our social or economic backgrounds.
